The Cresta Marukyu Micro Method Pellets consist of a blend of two types of 2mm coarse pellets, whose specific properties make them highly suited for the method and hybrid feeder. Thanks to their optimal binding power, the pellets can be easily and firmly pressed onto the feeder using either a mould or by hand, after which they break down quickly on the bottom to create the perfect hookbait presentation. The pellets are available in 800-gram packaging — ample for multiple sessions — and come in four variants: Natural, Sweet Secret, Chocopex, and Krill. Due to the high-quality ingredients and diverse flavours, they hold an immense attraction for carp, bream, tench, and F1s, making them highly effective on both commercials and open, natural waters. Furthermore, these pellets are highly versatile: they can be fed loose, cupped in when squeezed into a ball, or mixed into a groundbait mix, with correct wetting ensuring the optimal consistency for each technique.

Method & Hybrid

Place the desired quantity of pellets for a session into a sealable bait tub and spread them evenly across the bottom. Next, add water until the top pellets are just submerged, close the lid, and set the tub aside. After an hour, turn the tub upside down so that the moisture that has settled at the bottom runs back through the pellets; this ensures perfect water absorption and the ideal consistency. Ideally, you carry out this process the evening before, allowing the pellets to rest in the fridge overnight. Before the session, shake the pellets loose in a large mixing bowl and, if necessary, lightly damp them down with a wet hand to achieve the perfect binding power.

For cupping in as a squeezed ball, follow the exact same preparation as for the method feeder. However, when you want to feed the pellets loose, for example with a pole pot, the following method is optimal: place the desired quantity of pellets in a round tub, add a minimal amount of water and mix thoroughly so that all pellets absorb moisture. Repeat this process until the pellets just begin to bind; this ensures they stay securely in the pole pot during shipping out, but break free immediately with a slight vertical movement of the pole or by briefly holding the pole pot under water. This wetting method also prevents the pellets from unexpectedly floating due to surface tension.
