The IDentity ZXT Distance feeders prove to be very popular not only for distance fishing but also for fishing on running water. Understandably so, as casting heavy, large feeders goes exceptionally well with these fast and comfortable-to-fish rods. However, under extreme line pressure, which often occurs when fishing with anchor (or claw) feeders, a tailored tip would make the setup even better. That is why the ZXT River Tips have now been developed. With these 5oz and 6oz Full Carbon Tips, casting heavy feeders becomes even easier, while both tips bend significantly less under extreme flow pressure. This ensures that bites register properly, as the tip still has room to cushion. Also with so-called “drop-back” bites, when the fish pulls the entire feeder off the bottom, this ensures a controlled effect on the bite detection. The enlarged guides and the extra reinforced tip ring allow a shock leader knot to fly through the guides with ease; furthermore, they make the tips much less susceptible to breakage when reeling in with debris on the line. The ZXT River Tips feature a base diameter of 3.0mm and are perfectly suited for the ZXT 400 and 410 models.
